“With the power of social media and connectivity, the over 600 million people in Africa connected to the internet is an incredible opportunity for positive impact”

Social media powered Self-replicating system that transforms plastic waste into valuable resources to build free water closet toilets and free borehole systems in rural communities across Africa.

How we operate

Below is a breakdown of how each project self-funds the establishment of another in the next community, through the power of social media & connectivity.

Initial Fund Raising

The spark that kindles the fire is our collaboration with grant-giving organisations to raise the initial capital to fund the first construction of both the recycle toilets built with plastic bottle waste and the borehole system, and also the initial capital for promoting the completed project online to the country’s population.

Project construction

With the funds raised from the grant-giving organisation, and plastic waste bottles preserved and collected from the local community, we will begin the construction of the recycle toilet, and also the construction of the borehole system. Through this we are not only providing a much needed toilet system for proper waste management and borehole systems for clean drinkable water, but also repurposing waste into valuable, sustainable infrastructure, thereby reducing the wastes that end up in the ocean and natural habitats, preventing harm to wildlife and ecosystems.

Youtube revenue

As of 2023, 600 million of the African population have access to the internet. We can convert this attention to money to fund the self-sustainability of the projects. To do this, we will post a video of the construction and completion of the recycle toilet and borehole project on YouTube, and then promote a video on social media, telling the residents of that country that they can partake in lifting themselves by their bootstrap to fund their own toilets and borehole systems for their communities, without having to donate money, informing them that all they have to do is to share the link to the YouTube video we posted on their WhatsApp status, getting more people to watch the video, and hence getting more revenue from YouTube. This revenue will be the main source of funding for the next recycle toilet and bore hole system.

Sponsorship from vetted local businesses

We believe that positive change is best achieved through collaboration and shared community effort. That is why we carefully select vetted and verified local businesses within each country to partner with, promoting them on our YouTube videos in exchange for sponsorship from them.

New Project Construction

Through this innovative approach, we utilise funding from our two main sources-revenue generated from our YouTube channel, and sponsorship from vetted local businesses-to finance the construction of the next plastic waste built toilet and borehole system in the next community.

Repeat

After the plastic waste built toilet and borehole system is completed, we repeat the whole process over again to raise funds for execution in the next community, without need for seeking funding from grant-giving organisations, hence making the process self-replicating.
